Motherhood is hard on your skin! Let’s be honest; life is hard on your skin! These fall and winter months can be the worst for dry and dull skin, so I’m sharing some of my secrets for hydrated skin, especially as a busy mom of two!
I’ve got a pretty specific routine for my skin for each season, and in the fall/winter months I usually have to do extra for hydration! I get so dry in this west Texas weather! It can be painful and irritating, but this year I’ve vowed to be better to get a step ahead of the game! I’ve incorporated Peter Thomas Roth’s Water Drench Cloud Cream into my regimen already so that I can be ahead of the game when winter rolls around!
I believe in investing in your skin while your young is the key! Especially as a mom, you can take yourself and your skin for granted after those late nights nursing a baby, but it’s so important to find a regimen that works for you!
I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing this stuff is. Cloud Cream helps improve hydration by including 30% hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid helps improve skin hydration and is able to hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water and can even attract moisture from in the air! We don’t have much moisture in the air here in west Texas, but this product has been a life-saver already!
My skin gets so tight and dull in the fall/winter, so I’m looking forward to not seeing that this time! Water Drench feels has the silkiest soft texture and helps replenish replenish moisture and brighten the look of your skin!
The girls are always with me every step of the way (usually all day, every day) and they LOVE to help me apply! I might need some more because they apply a little more liberally than I would! 😉 I apply after my cleanser in the am and pm and love that it’s non-greasy and perfect for hydrating before applying makeup.
