I love seeing my girls in matching outfits, but I’m just as much a sucker for a good mama + mini outfit as well. I mean, we’ve got to dress alike before they get into their teenage years and realize it’s not cool to be like mom, right?

Sometimes, I don’t even realize that my girls are matching me. It’s like I do it subconsciously and then realize later that I’ve dressed them as my little mini me’s! Having girls is SO much fun, but I think it’s just as cute to dress a boy in the same color scheme as you!

It’s back to school! Laikyn starts preschool one week from today, and most everyone I know is either back to school or going today! I hope you all have the best year filled with many blessings and memories! I know many of you mamas are still looking for matching mama + mini outfits, so I am sharing a few of my favorites with you today!

I am loving everything about these chambray peplum tops. It was so cute in the girls’ sizes that I had to find one for myself. They are SUPER soft and so versatile for fall. I wish I could have found us all matching shoes, but these are the ones that fit us at the moment! Laikyn’s jeans are AG which I also have in my size and adore. Lennyn’s are Tucker + Tate which is one of our favorite brands!

Whether we plan it or not, matching is a must around here! I love to shop for all of us at Nordstrom because of the quality and customer service. I share about these sunglasses and how they went above and beyond to get me a new pair! I couldn’t believe the lengths their customer service will go to for making sure the customer is happy! I am a loyal Nordstrom shopper for life!

What is your back to school looking like? Do you still plan to match your mini when school starts? Most of the time, I’m envious of my daughters’ outfits and want them in my size! It doesn’t hurt to just create a look and duplicate for the rest! Like I said….until they realize mom isn’t that cool.
