I’ve honestly never seen a gingham I didn’t love, but put it in the tiniest form and I become OBSESSED. Nordstrom does it again with their Tucker + Tate collection of sister outfits, so I couldn’t wait to share! I can’t tell you how many people stopped us during this shoot to say how cute the girls outfits were!

If you were following along last week, I took the girls to a kids resort + swim park last weekend and braved a 5 and a half hour drive alone with my two-year-old and four-year-old. Yeah, cue the mouth drop because it really was chaos.
To say that it was major chaos is an understatement. They didn’t nap, we stopped AT LEAST 3 times to potty and I couldn’t even count how many times I heard, “Are we there yet?” It was so worth it once we got there and met my mom, sister and niece, and seeing their faces when they got there was reason enough to go! Since it was a kids trip, we planned mostly kids activities but us big girls snuck in some alternate spa and shopping time, so I of course ran to Nordstrom to pick up a few things.
You guys know by now that Nordstrom is my favorite place for just about everything under the sun. I get everything from makeup to clothes to my kids clothes there, so visiting Nordstrom when in Dallas is a must! I walked by the toddler section and these cute little gingham outfits were screaming BUY ME! So, of course, I did. I can’t pass up a cute gingham.
It’s almost fall time, but with the heat still going strong in Texas, it’s important for me to be able to dress my kids to be comfortable! I love that this gingham swing dress can easily be worn into fall with a cardigan or jacket like this one and tights/leggings. Lennyn’s little romper can be worn with a body suit under it or a jacket over it as well. I knew they were a great buy and who doesn’t love a good sibling matching outfit?
The best shoes for the girls right now (and always, really) are these Adidas sneakers which I of course had to have, too! We also absolutely love the Native shoes as I put them in them ALL of the time! Both of these shoes are totally worth it and they have worn them more often than any other shoes we own! I love that they are both neutral and can be worn with so many outfits, too! Size down on the Adidas sneakers.
I’ll be styling these outfits for the girls into fall, so if you need more ideas for them, be sure to come back and see how they keep wearing them! I’ve already washed them (you know they were dirty from the rain puddles) and they wash really well! I love Tucker + Tate at Nordstrom so much for that reason. They are affordable, cute options for kids but also are great quality that wash really well – we moms know that’s so important when buying outfits for our kids!
I’ve rounded up some more affordable options for kiddos in the tool below! Shop it directly by just clicking the item you want and it will take you to the Nordstrom website! As always, they offer free shipping and free returns which are made super easy! I’m definitely buying this for the girls – how cute!
