Happy Valentine’s Day, lovelies! My husband and I celebrated while we were in Las Vegas last week, so this week we are just doing a quiet night in with our girls! He’s grilling steaks and shrimp and I’m planning on renting a movie, hopping in my pajamas and being in bed by 9pm. Wild night, I know! 😉
For our girls, I usually get them a card, something sweet (like candy or a treat) an animal and a balloon! I think their favorite part is always the balloon! It’s so sweet to see their faces and them talking about being our Valentine all day! It’s such a fun little holiday!
It just occurred to me that this will be the last year that we won’t have classroom parties and Valentine parties. I’m soaking in the last year just us and our two little Valentines without all of the pressure of making the perfect Valentine box, clever Pinterest Valentines to hand out and cupcakes to perfectly make for the party! Can you tell I’ve got the Kindergarten teacher on back burner for now? I just enjoy being a mama that doesn’t have to perfect everything just yet!
