For some time now, I’ve been contemplating transitioning Laikyn into a big girl bed and Lennyn from the Rock n Play to her crib. I just don’t want to go through it and give up my sleep! Laikyn sleeps 12 hours straight and Lennyn is on a good 9 hour stretch, so I’m just not ready to go through any changes! I’m glad to have some help with the transition to make it go a little more smoothly!
I am beginning to think about it and I came across the DockATot. It’s a versatile little contraption that you can carry around the house, travel with or take outside for lounging. It’s a sleeper, lounger, changing pad, tummy time, rester, playmat and cuddler. It helps your baby feel more like they are being held than left out in the open.
I am using Lennyn’s Deluxe DockATot for transitioning to the crib for naps right now. We are also using it for tummy time and as a little lounger while sister plays! The Deluxe DockATot is for ages 0-8 months. It gives Lennyn a safe and so comfy cozy space that helps her to rest easy.
Laikyn’s DockATot Grand fits ages 9 to 36 months and is perfect for napping or transitioning to the big girl bed. We have left LC in her crib because she sleeps so well and we don’t want her to change that. We will be working on transitioning her in a couple of months to a big girl room and this will come in so handy. We have taken it while traveling and she sleeps in a big bed just fine with the DockATot. She says, “ohhh mommy, it’s so cozy!” I love that she feels comfortable and it keeps her safe from rolling off the bed. She is a WILD sleeper. The DockATot gives her a sense of safety in a large bed that she normally wouldn’t sleep in alone. It’s also great for taking to Grandma’s house and making a pallet on the floor! She has taken it there too to try it out and she slept great in it!
Laikyn loves lounging in hers and watching Paw Patrol or Strawberry Shortcake. She says it’s her little bed!
Here are some features that set the DockATot apart from any other bed transitioning device:
I feel like DockATot is going to be a life saver in helping us during these transitions. I am so thrilled to have them and can’t wait to see how it goes (when it’s time)…for now, I’m still enjoying my sleep, and will take it slow in the transition. I have a 5 mo boy who is in the 95% for weight and height. We need something to help him sleep and I want to buy a dockatot. Just not sure if I should get the grand or delux. I'm sure the delux would be more comfortable for him at the moment. But I feel like the grand is a better investment. Thoughts since you have both.

Honestly, I would go with the Grand! They will be in it longer, and it will be more worth the money in my opinion!
